- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Abou-Samra was highly recommended by my doctor, other surgeons that I interviewed, friends and family. I was told that most firefighters and officers in Ventura County see him. It took me several months to see him. So I took the extra time to interview several other surgeons. I highly suggest you do the same so you feel that you went with the best surgeon. He doesn't seem to do any advertising and he probably still has more patients than he really wants. When I first met him he was very friendly, down to earth, professional, and very experienced. After reviewing my MRI he was the most confident out of all of the surgeons I interviewed. He patiently answered all of my questions. He is not an "assembly line surgeon." He wants to take his time with each of his patients. After the surgery, I was up and walking later that day without pain. A few months after surgery, I finished the physical therapy and I am still pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Abou-Samra.November 09, 2017by A Google User
